Wakiso Giants coach Ibrahim Kirya has downplayed chances of winning of the Uganda Cup but it insists game time.
The Fufa Big League side are into the last eight of the competition that has already been exited by traditional giants SC Villa and holders KCCA.
“For us, it’s one game at a time,” said Kirya. “We want to win every next game and see how far we can go,” he added.
On the triumph over Tooro United, the former SC Villa, Lweza and URA coach attributed the victory to a successful work plan.
“The team worked hard and were rewarded,” he said. “Our game plan was not to concede much as we thought we would win in normal time,” he went on.
