Vipers 1-0 Kiboga Young

Abraham Ndugwa celebrates with Sserunkuma

Ndugwa’s efforts propelled the 2016 Uganda Cup winners to the quarter finals when Tito Okello – who replaced Sserunkuma after 52 minutes set the ball in the former’s path – the Uganda Cranes star firing into the left corner.

Martin Sseruwagi, a bow-legged entity who graduated from the famous Kampala Kids League (KKL) programmehad been a thorn in the flesh of Vipers for long spells of the game but his side had less of the firepower to level.

On the same day, BUL humbled Bukedea Town Council 4-1 at the FUFA Technical Center and Nebbi Central ejected surprize package Nkambi Coffee 1-0 in Nebbi.
