Out of service coach Kefa Kisala is reportedly among the long list of coaches who have shown interest in the vacant head coach job of Tanzania Premier League side Azam Football Club.
The former Uganda Cranes player was relieved of his duties at Express FC late last month and was replaced by George Ssimwogerere.
Airtel Football has learnt that Kisala is among the over 20 coaches who have applied for the vaccant Azam FC head coach job.
The Tanzanian side coaching job fell vacant following the sacking of Dutch Hans Van Der Pluijm and his Tanzanian assistant Juma Mwambusi because of poor results.
Currently, the club’s youth coach Major Abdul Mingange, a CAF ‘A’ licenced coach is the interim head coach, assisted by Iddi ‘Cheche’ Nassor.
If lands the job, he will follow the path of another Ugandan coach, George Best Nsimbe at Azam FC.
