Leaders KCCA FC opened up a four point lead at the top of the league table following a one-all draw with Tooro United FC in Buhinga on Wednesday.
The result felt like two points dropped by the Kasasiro Boys who left the door ajar for second placed Vipers with the two horse race remaining undecided – seven games left to culminate the 2018-19 league season.
Godfrey Lwesibawa scored for Tooro in 56 th minute following a goalless first half but Mike Mutyaba replied seven minutes later for the hosts as both sides walked away from the contest with a point.
KCCA welcomed back skipper Timothy Awany who replaced Bernard Muwanga at the heart of defence.
The stalemate was also a reminder of how Wasswa Bbosa’s side are a hard nut to crack while playing in Fort Portal.
The side have not lost any game since relocating to Buhinga from Kavumba earlier this season.
KCCA now move to 49 points in 23 games while Tooro United are now 7 with 33 points.
