Kiboga Young boasted their top tier promotion hopes with a dominant 3-1 victory over Kabale Sharp at the Basumusuuta High school playground on Thursday.

Brian Mugume, Willy Kalyango and Airtel Masaza product Jamil Kisitu Nvule( 6th of the season) scored the goals for Felix Kawooya Ssekabuuza’s coached side who now 2rd with 29 points and, trail leaders Proline by a point after 14 matches for either side in the Rwenzori group.

Proline, without star striker Yubu Bogere, was held to a goal-less draw by Mark Twinamatisko’s Doves at the Katushabe play ground in Masindi.

Coach Shafic Bisaso’s side now have 30 points.

Richard Makumbi coached Kitara trounced Bumate United 2-0 at Christ High School playground in Bundibugyo thanks to goals from former SC Villa pair of Ramadhan Dudu and George Senkaaba.
Water over came Ntinda United 1-0 at Muteesa II stadium, Wakulukuku.

Kira United and Kireka United played to a barren draw in a rain interrupted affair at Mandela National Stadium.

The Elgon group had two fixtures on the cards.

Dove All Stars and Entebbe Football Club settled for a point in the one all draw played at the Green Light Stadium, Arua while Jinja Municipal Council (JMC Hippos) edged Light SS 1-0 at Kakindu Stadium in Jinja.

The top two sides in the Elgon group, Wakiso Giants and Kyetume will not be in action because they square off in the quarterfinal Uganda Cup duel at the Nakisunga playground on Sunday.
