Busiro Ssaza FC have appointed Noah Mugerwa as their new head coach as the side is charting the way forward for the 2019 Airtel Masaza tournament.
Mugerwa, who replaces Bright Stars’ Paul Kiwanuka, reportedly penned a two-year contract this week.
Mugerwa, renowned for his flamboyance in the dugout has formerly worked with Buddu, Busujju and Blessed Sacrament Kimanya SS.
Currently with Uganda Martyrs University Nkozi in the University Football League, he has been tasked with a colossal task of guiding the side to it’s maiden Masaza title.
Busiro has never won the Masaza Cup since the inception in 2004.
Last year, Mugerwa guided Busujju to a third place finish after defeating Buwekula 1-0 at Namboole.
This year’s Airtel Masaza tournament edition is earmarked to kick off in June.
