Battle lines have been drawn for three Uganda Cranes players as Simba SC was drawn against TP Mazembe in this year’s CAF Champions league quarter finals.

The draws held on Wednesday revealed that Tanzanian giants Simba SC and home for Cranes duo of Emmanuel Arnold Okwi and defender Murushid Jjuuko will have to negotiate counterpart Joseph Ochaya’s TP Mazembe with progression to the semifinals at stake.

Denis Onyango’s Mamelodi Sundowns will play against eight time winners Al Ahly of Egypt while reigning Champions Esperance de Tunis have been drawn against Algeria’s CS Constatine in an all Maghreb mouth watering tie.

Guinea’s Horoya AC will face Morocco’s Wydad Athletic Casablanca in the other fourth quarter final.

The aggregate winner between Horoya AC and Wydad Casablanca will play against Mamelodi Sundowns and Al Ahly SC.

The winners between CS Constatine and Esperance de Tunis will face TP Mazembe or Simba SC in the semi finals.

The first leg of the quarter finals will be played on 26th and 27th April. The second leg will take place on 3rd and 4th May.
