Former Uganda Cranes coach Sebastien Desabre has paid his respects to his the nation saying he will forever feel adopted to the Pearl as a form of strong attachment despite his departure.
Desabre had managed to guide Uganda past the group stages for the first time since 1978.
Speaking after his departure, Desabre said he is proud to have worked with the Ugandan football fraternity.
“I thank my players, staff, collaborators, government and supporters for the investment and support on the Ugandan football development road,” Desabre wrote on his twitter page.
“I wish you the best for the future. I will always be an adopted Ugandan. Sebastien Desabre.”
