Uganda Cranes defender Henry Kalungi has thanked former teammate and colleague Godfrey Walusimbi for his contribution to the national team after the star called time on his international career.
Walusimbi announced his retirement in a letter he penned to FUFA revealing he was giving a chance to the young lads to also have a go at the left back position.
Kalungi – who has been a long time friend and shared moments with Walusimbi on the squad – lauded him, wishing all the best in his future.
“Congratulations Waza on a decorated career with Uganda Cranes,” he wrote on his twitter page.
“You have done the country proud. Wishing you all the best my brother. God bless.”
