Uganda Cranes coach Jonathan McKinstry is pleased with the national team’s 1-0 win over Ethiopia that was collected on Sunday in an International Friendly.
Emmaneul Okwi found the back of the net in the 20th minute to hand McKinstry his first win as Cranes coach away from home.
Speaking after the match, McKinstry revealed it was only the beginning of good things for the outfit as he prepares for other engagements.
“Very pleased for all the players, staff & officials to secure a 1-0 away win over Ethiopia to kick-start the next phase of development for the Uganda Cranes,” he wrote on his twitter page.
“It is only the beginning, but together we have taken the first steps on the journey together.”
