Uganda Cranes coach Jonathan McKinstry has named the national team squad that will prepare for the AFCON 2021 Qualifiers against Burkina Faso and Malawi.
The side will be seeking to return to the continental stage after managing to reach the last 16 in the 2019 edition in Egypt.
Uganda travels to Burkina Faso to face the side on the 11th of November before returning to Kampala to battle Malawi 8 days later.
McKinstry will be helped by Abdallah Mubiru as first assistant, Livingstone Mbabazi – 2nd assistant and Fred Kajoba as Goalkeeping coach.
Among the players summoned is Mize Azira who returns from a busy season in the Major League Soccer (MLS) with Chicago Fire – a side he joined after the 2019 AFCON from Montreal Impact.
Others on the squad include locally based forward Fahad Bayo who has been in blistering form and Turkey based Farouk Miya of Konyaspor.
