Wakiso Giants FC has appointed Steven Bengo as caretaker coach at the Uganda Premier League club after the administration sacked former tactician Kefa Kisala.
In a statement released by the club on Monday 4th November 2019, Bengo was listed to replace Kisala after a torrid spell at the outfit.
“The club has appointed former player Steven Bengo as caretaker coach as club
prepares to announce the new chapter and new head coach,” read part of the statement.
Two months ago, Bengo retired from football. He had an illustrious career that has was painted with moments of brilliance both at the local league and national level.
He was commonly know for his soft skills on the ball and had a chance to feature for clubs like KCCA, Express, Soana , Tanzanian Club Yanga, Kenya’s Nakumat FC and newly promoted Wakiso Giants.
