Malawi head coach Mike Mwase addressing the media at Protea Marriott Hotel, Skyz in Naguru – Kampala

Malawi Flames Head Coach Meke Mwase has revealed he is keen to correct what failed him 19 years ago when he represented his nation against Uganda Cranes.

The tactician faces the same side again in the 2021 AFCON Qualifier match at Namboole on Sunday and he believes they will do better than when he lost 3-1 to Uganda in 2000.

IT IS A BLESSING IN DISGUISE TO BE HERE ONCE AGAIN. THE LAST TIME I CAME HERE AS  A PLAYER, WE LOST THE BATTLE.

Meke Mwase, Malawi Head Coach
