Kawempe Muslim and Lady Doves extended their perfect start to the 2019/20 FUFA Women Super League after winning their respective games on match day three over the weekend.

Record champions Kawempe Muslim defeated reigning champions UCU Lady Cardinals 2-0 on Sunday to register their third win in as many games.

Anita Namata and Margaret Kuhira scored a goal each for the Warriors who missed the services of lethal striker Juliet Nalukenge.

Nalukenge was ruled out of the game due to an injury he sustained during the CECAFA Senior Women Challenge Cup.

Victory means, Kawempe Muslim coached by Ayub Khalifa Kiyingi has nine points in three games and are joint top alongside Lady Doves who won 2-0 against Olila High School on Saturday.

Fazila Ikwaput extended her scoring spree, getting on the scoresheet for the Masindi based side. The other goal was scored by Maggie Kayima.

She Corprate earned their first win this season overcoming Kampala Queens. Favour Nambatya and Sharon Onyeboth scored for the Nakawa based side while Fauzia Najjemba got the consolation for Kampala Queens.

Elsewhere, Uganda Martyrs High School, Lubaga earned a comforatable 3-0 win against struggling Muteesa I Royal University thanks to goals from Spencer Nakachwa, Esther Naluyimba and Catherine Nagadya.

Action will return next weekend with match day four games.

Olila High School will host Kawempe Muslim in Soroti while UCU Lady Cardinals will be away to Uganda Martyrs High School.

Lady Doves will be at home for the third successive game against wounded Kampala Queens while struggling Muteesa I Royal University will face She Corporate.
