Sports Club Villa lost their second successive game this year and the third in a row in the league after succumbing to visiting Busoga United FC on Tuesday at Mandela National Stadium.

After losing to URA FC last week, the Jogoos went into Tuesday’s game with hopes of making quick amends.

However, they instead piled onto their misery after falling to Busoga United courtesy of Moses Kiggundu’s own goal.

The decisive moment came in the 76th minute when Kiggundu directed Ivan Wani’s cross into his own net.

This was the second win for Busoga United FC in the second round. The first win came against Express FC last week.

The result means SC Villa drop to 5th place with 27 points while Busoga United FC moved up to 6th position on 24 points.
