Sports Club Villa advanced to the round of 32 of the 2020 Uganda Cup with relative ease after overcoming Super Eagles on Thursday.

The round of 64 game played at Pece War Memorial Stadium in Gulu town saw the Jogoos secure a 4-1 win to progress.

Despite the home side proving to be a hard nut to crack especially in the opening stages of the game, the nine-time winners eventually put up a commanding display to emerge winners.

Bashir Mutanda who scored the lone goal as SC Villa defeated Vipers SC in Kitende last week opened the scores.

Ronald Magwali, David Owori and youngster Salim Abdallah who was making his debut were also on the score sheet for Edward Kaziba’s charges.

SC Villa has won the Uganda Cup nine times with the last one coming in 2015.
