Kyetume FC continues with its fight to fend off relegation and settled for a point against URA FC on Saturday in Jinja.

The Slaughters took an early lead through Robert Ssentongo but midfielder Saidi Keyune equalized midway through the second half for URA FC.

Ssentongo, formerly at URA FC handed Kyetume FC the lead, converting from the spot after Paul Mbowa held the ball in the area.

The diminutive forward did no mistake to slot home just two minutes after kickoff.

URA FC who is by far the most in-form team in the league dominated possession and made the better chances on the day but on many occasions failed to find the breakthrough.

Kyetume defended resiliently and had goalkeeper Joel Mutakubwa to thank for a wonderful performance.

It took Kyeyune’s wonderful effort in the 73rd minute for URA FC to earn a point.

The result leaves URA FC in 4th place on 34 points while Kyetume moves to 13th, just a place and point above Police FC who have 22 points.
