Sports Club Villa needed a late outburst to secure maximum points against Proline FC in the game played at Mandela National Stadium on Saturday.
Proline took an early lead through striker Hamis Diego Kizza and the Lugogo based side seemed to edge closer bag all three points.
However, a late surge in the closing moments of the game saw Ambrose Kirya and Benson Muhindo score a goal each to guide the Jogoos to a dramatic win.
Kizza fired Proline into the lead at the 18th minute mark and the visitors led 1-0 at half time.
SC Villa returned recharged after recess and Kirya leveled matters, converting from the spot.
Deep into stoppage time, Muhindo who came on as a substitute found the back of the net with a ferocious strike.
The win lifts SC Villa to third place on 37 points while Proline FC remains bottom of the table on 15 points.
