Goalkeeper James Alitho has completed a move to join Zambia top flight side, ZANACO FC, Airtel Football can confirm.

Alitho who has been plying his trade at URA FC in the Uganda Premier League has joined the 12 time league champions on a two year deal after impressing in trials.

The lanky goalkeeper left Uganda a fortnight ago and has been undergoing trials at the club. After impressing, he put pen to paper on a two year contract agreement.

He is the latest Ugandan footballer to join the Zambian league, following several other players already there.

These include goalkeeper Mathias Kigonya (Forest Rangers), Paul Musamali (Buildcon), Misi Katende (Mufulira Wanderers), Yasin Mugabi (Red Arrows) and Brian Bwete (Mufulira Wanderers).

Before joining URA FC, Alitho had played for Vipers SC helping them to win two league titles and Uganda Cup in 2016.
